Voyagers were the transportation crew for the European fur industry in early North American history. Their birch bark canoes are famous and ranged in size from short river canoes to extra-long Great Lakes-crossing Montreal canoes that were 36-foot long. Enjoy a half hour ride on the Wapsipinicon River in a 29-foot reproduction. This event is free, but you must reserve a spot to crew a canoe. For ages 5 and older. Please call 319-892-6485 and specify which time you prefer and how many will be in your group.
