Whitewater Paddling on Lizard Creek, Fort Dodge, Iowa. Meet at Phinney Park access. “Put in at either Hwy P29 (Lentsch Access) which will require 13.6 miles of paddling or P41 (Rasch Access) which will shorten the trip to less than six miles. The upper stretches of this paddle include several very nice riffles and small drops. The last couple of miles include the Gypsum Miles Rapids (Class I-II), a boulder field and another Class I drop through a breached low head dam before arriving at Phinney Park.” Must bring your own boat.
